From a historical, archaeological and naturalistic point of view, this valley is unique in Sicily. It is only twenty minutes by car from Palermo and still has valuable remains and fascinating cave paintings. You can see the remains of far- off and unknown times, surrounded by woods, torrents, windmills and ancients farms whilst going on hikes through the newly discovered historical and naturalistic walks. Paths have recently been built and can easily be followed by adults as well as by children.
